Pediatric Dental Care
We understand the importance of laying a foundation of happy, carefree dental visits for your children. We recommend bringing your child in for their initial dental visit as soon as the first tooth has erupted through the gumline. For some children, this is as early as six months. Typically, this is a short visit, and we do not aim to accomplish much in the way of treatment. Our goal is to build a relationship, make the dentist’s office fun, and see lots of smiles!
As your child grows, you can expect that we will be:
- Taking all the necessary X-rays, looking for early signs of tooth decay
- Reviewing bone growth patterns, looking for malalignment and future orthodontic concerns
